Just head over to www.PayPal.com and sign up for an account. Your email address will be your account name. It's pretty straight forward; I've been using them for years without much trouble. |

Paypal is a great way to send money back and forth across the web although I prefer to send/receive payment via personal check when possible to save on Paypal fees. |

How about members that are from countries not currently supported by paypal?
I'm sure there are others like me on this forum. |

I've held two contests here so far and both times the winner was in a country not supported by PayPal.
The first time I used Western Union (fees were a bit more, but it was reliable and worked well), and the second time the winner had me PayPal the money to a friend he trusted from another country, and she sent him a check (I think). |

Moneybookers is a very popular PayPal alternative. I've never had a reason to use it, though. I think all of my business has been from the US, Canada, and UK. |

For international payments where I couldn't use PayPal I would either use Western Union or send the money via a bank wire transfer. |

I use moneybookers.com regularly, same problem here since paypal don't work with most countries from Europe. Also use WU and iban wire transfer though...
and how do you get the money from moneybookers? |
