| Photo gallery on a client site...what to use? On Fri Jun 09, 2006 02:33 PM
I need to expand a photo gallery for a client, it has grown (or will soon) past the point of managing it locally. I was looking at Flickr and a few others.
Right now I retouch, and manage everything that comes in from the users but I am considering allowing direct uploads so if that feature is available it could be a plus.
Anyone have any opinions or experiences the want to share? |

Can't you run Gallery or something as opposed to getting some remotely hosted thing? |

I've never had to do one before so I am not familiar with Gallery. Are you referring to this: http://gallery.menalto.com/ ?
If so, it is definitely something I am considering but wanted some input from y'all. |

I would use a script like Xoops or Drupal because it is all iclusive (one login - lots of features), one database, and nearly unlimited options for expanding the website beyond its current functionality. |
