| Shameless Commerce Forum Added On Fri Jun 16, 2006 12:19 PM
We have added a "shameless commerce" forum under "off topic". This forum is intended to be a place where members can advertise stuff that is not directly design related.
In time, once we have rolled out vBulletin v3.6 we will make the shameless commerce forum a fee based forum where one would have to pay a modest fee to advertise in.
Until we implement the fee based system, anybody who has a member for 14 days and have 30 posts to be allowed to start threads in that forum. For technical reasons anybody who has been a member since before June 9th and has at least 20 posts have been "grandfathered" in and are able to start threads in the "shameless commerce" forum.
Again, once we have implemented vBulleting v3.6 and are able to start charging to start threads in that forum, all members (except moderators and admins) will be required to pay a fee to start a thread in that forum. |

I don't really have something serious to advertise atm, but it seems I cannot start a thread there. Nothing to buy or sell, just a little gaming site of mine which I've mentioned before at General Chat. Now I decided not to post it there anyway |

Would you please try again. I can not find any reason why you wouldn't be allowed to post your site in that forum.
Would other members or senior members please see if you could post in the shameless commerce forum. I need to find out if people are having a problem using it.
Thanks. |

Wierd, I didn't change anything.
But I switched browsers (IE <-> Firefox) logged in and out etc. Very confusing, one time I can post, the other time I can't. Sent you a PM with more details.
Here is my question to the public:
Does simultaneous logging in (with two different browsers), confuse vBulletin in any way? |

Yes I believe that that the second log in logs out the first log in. To the best of my knowledge you can not be logged in to two sessions at the same time. |
